These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legal agreement between you and OpenGraph, which
operates Linkdrop (“OpenGraph,” “Linkdrop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access
to linkdrop.bio and the Linkdrop page-building, publishing, analytics, and billing
services we provide (the “Service”).
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to
these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree,
do not use Linkdrop.
01 Agreement and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement to
use Linkdrop. If you use Linkdrop for a company, organization, client, or other person,
you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf. In that case,
“you” includes that person or organization.
You may use the Service only where doing so is lawful. You may not use Linkdrop if you are
barred from receiving services under applicable law or sanctions rules.
You must provide accurate, current information and keep your email address up to date. You
are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity that occurs under your
account. Notify us promptly at support@mail.linkdrop.bio if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may not sell, transfer, or share your account in a way that defeats plan limits or
creates a security risk. We may ask you to verify account information when reasonably
necessary to protect the Service or resolve an ownership dispute.
03 Plans, billing, and refunds
Linkdrop offers paid plans billed monthly or yearly. Prices, plan features, page limits,
and billing intervals are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Polar and may
also be subject to Polar’s terms and privacy practices.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription begins when payment is confirmed and
renews for the same interval until canceled. You authorize Polar and Linkdrop to charge the
payment method associated with your account for recurring fees and applicable taxes.
- Cancellation. You may cancel through the billing portal. A scheduled cancellation
takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and you retain paid access until then
unless the account is suspended for a Terms violation.
- Plan changes. Upgrades and other in-app plan changes may be invoiced or credited
immediately using prorated billing. A downgrade may reduce page or feature limits. If a lower
plan supports fewer pages, you must select the page to keep and the remaining pages may be
deleted.
- Refunds. Fees are non-refundable and we do not provide credits for partially
used billing periods, except where required by law or expressly agreed by OpenGraph. Your
mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this paragraph.
We may change prices or plan features. We will provide reasonable advance notice of a
material price increase, which will apply no earlier than your next renewal. If you do not
accept a change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
You retain ownership of the text, images, links, branding, and other material you provide
to Linkdrop (“Your Content”). You are responsible for Your Content and for ensuring that
you have all rights, licenses, and permissions required to use and publish it.
You grant OpenGraph a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store,
reproduce, format, convert, cache, publicly display, and distribute Your Content only as
reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide Linkdrop. This license
allows us to use service providers that help deliver the Service. It ends when Your
Content is deleted from our systems, subject to reasonable technical, backup, legal, and
caching periods.
We will not use Your Content in advertising or promotional materials merely because you
published it through Linkdrop. We may feature your page only with your permission or where
you have separately agreed to that use.
05 Public pages and third-party links
Published Linkdrop pages are public. Anyone may view, visit, copy, index, or share
publicly available content and links. You are responsible for deciding what to publish and
for maintaining your own copies of important content.
Linkdrop pages may link to or embed websites, social platforms, media, products, services,
booking tools, and other third-party material. OpenGraph does not control or endorse those
third parties and is not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy
practices, products, transactions, refunds, or customer support. Your use of third-party
services is governed by their own terms.
You are solely responsible for your offers, claims, customer relationships, and legal
obligations to visitors, including advertising, consumer protection, accessibility,
privacy, tax, and industry-specific requirements that apply to your business.
You may not use Linkdrop to create, upload, publish, promote, or link to:
- Illegal activity or content that violates applicable laws or court orders.
- Fraud, phishing, impersonation, deceptive offers, or misleading financial claims.
- Malware, harmful code, credential theft, or suspicious external domains.
- Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Hate speech, harassment, threats, exploitation, or content encouraging violence or
serious harm.
- Pornographic or sexually explicit content, sexual exploitation, or any sexual content
involving minors.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, or
high-yield investment schemes.
You also may not bypass security or plan limits; interfere with the Service; probe or test
vulnerabilities without permission; overload our infrastructure; scrape or harvest
information using automated means; reverse engineer the Service except where law expressly
permits it; or use Linkdrop to build or train a competing service from non-public platform
materials.
07 Slugs, pages, and analytics
A Linkdrop slug or page address does not give you ownership of a trademark, business name,
or other person’s identity. Slugs may not impersonate others, infringe rights, be
offensive, create confusion, or be reserved only for resale or speculation. We may
reserve, rename, reclaim, or remove a slug where reasonably necessary to protect the
Service, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or resolve a credible rights claim.
Plan-specific page limits are enforced on active pages. If you rename a slug, links,
bookmarks, QR codes, and embeds using the old address will stop working. You are
responsible for updating them.
Linkdrop analytics are estimates intended to help you understand page activity. They may
exclude bots, be delayed, contain errors, or differ from another analytics service. We do
not guarantee that analytics are complete, unique-person counts, or suitable for
financial, legal, or regulatory reporting.
08 Suspension, cancellation, and deletion
You may stop using Linkdrop or cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation of a
subscription does not itself erase your account immediately. When paid access ends, your
pages may enter a 30-day recovery period before being scheduled for permanent deletion.
You are responsible for exporting or retaining any content you need before that period
ends.
We may remove content, unpublish pages, restrict features, suspend access, or terminate an
account if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, failed to pay fees, created
risk or legal exposure, or threatened the security or availability of the Service. We will
provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue when reasonably practical, but may
act immediately for urgent security, safety, legal, or abuse matters.
Deletion and reset operations may be irreversible. Provisions that by their nature should
continue—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing
law—survive termination.
09 Linkdrop ownership and feedback
OpenGraph and its licensors own the Service, including its software, designs, interfaces,
branding, templates, documentation, and all related intellectual property, excluding Your
Content. Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited,
revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Linkdrop for your internal
business or personal business purposes.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service
itself. If you provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you allow us to use them without
restriction or payment, and you are not required to provide feedback.
While an eligible Plus subscription is active, requests successfully submitted through the
priority-request tool receive a personal response from the Linkdrop team within three
business days. “Response” means a substantive acknowledgement or reply; it does not
promise that a reported issue will be resolved or a requested feature will be implemented
within that period. Business days exclude Saturdays and Sundays in the Pacific time zone.
10 Service availability and changes
We may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features as Linkdrop evolves. We may
also perform maintenance or make emergency changes without advance notice. Where a change
materially reduces a paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice when practical.
Beta, preview, or experimental features may be incomplete, change without notice, and be
less reliable than generally available features. We do not promise that any specific
feature will remain available permanently.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkdrop is provided “as is” and “as available.”
OpenGraph disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including warranties
of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any
warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free
from harmful components; that defects will be corrected; that content or analytics will be
accurate or preserved; or that Linkdrop will meet every business requirement. These
disclaimers do not exclude warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12 Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpenGraph and its officers, employees,
contractors, affiliates, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental,
special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue,
business, goodwill, data, or opportunities, arising from or related to Linkdrop—even if we
were advised that those damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service will not exceed
the greater of the fees you paid to OpenGraph for Linkdrop during the 12 months before the
event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100. These limits do not apply where liability
cannot legally be limited, including liability caused by fraud, willful misconduct, or
gross negligence where applicable.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold OpenGraph harmless from third-party claims,
losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal costs arising from Your Content, your offers or
dealings with visitors, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or
another person’s rights. This obligation applies only to the extent permitted by law.
13 Governing law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada
applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory rights
you may have under local law, you and OpenGraph submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of
the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia.
We may update these Terms as the Service or law changes. We will post the revised Terms
here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially reduces your rights, we
will provide reasonable advance notice when practical. Continued use after the updated
Terms take effect means you accept them; otherwise, you must stop using Linkdrop and
cancel your subscription.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and OpenGraph
about Linkdrop. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in
effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms
without our consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger,
acquisition, or sale of the Service.
Questions, notices, and concerns about these Terms may be sent to OpenGraph at legal@mail.linkdrop.bio.
